The distillery which is 100% Greek and belongs to the Kaloyannis family, continues to produce the exquisite Ouzo of Plomari using the same recipe, which pays attention to excellent ingredients, and the same traditional method of distillation in 18 small, handmade, copper stills. The main ingredient of Ouzo Plomari Isidoros Arvanitis is the aniseed from the distillery’s privately owned fields in Lisvori, the place where the best aniseed in the world is grown. The brand is produced and bottled entirely in Plomari, Lesvos (Protected Geographical Indication – PGI by EU).
